The Ypsilanti Historical Museum is always a resident favorite during the holiday season.

By day or by night the 12th annual Historic Ypsilanti Holiday Homes Tour will provide visitors with a memorable experience.
The benefit for Ypsilanti Meals on Wheels is 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday for the Candlelight Tour; and 12 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday for the traditional tour.
Tour-goers will be captivated with each home that is imaginatively decorated to usher in the holidays.
The fund-raiser kicks off with the Candlelight Tour, a magical way to view the stunning holiday sites, enjoy hors d'oeuvres in each home and desserts and wine available at the Ladies Literary Club, located at 218 N. Washington St.
Cost for this exclusive tour is $40 per person and provides admission for both tours.
Sunday is the conventional tour when visitors can appreciate the fine craftsmanship of each setting and marvel at the creative, amusing and formal decorations that each resident has adopted.
Visitors will muse over the varied collections that range from Santas to trolls and Christmas trees decorated with family heirlooms and kitschy ornaments from the 1950's. It's all part of the fun and fancy of the Historic Ypsilanti Holiday Homes Tour.
