Letter misled readers on Augusta officials

Concerning Letter to the Editor printed in the June 18 edition of The Ypsilanti Courier:

I was surprised to read June 18 Letter to the Editor concerning Kathy Giszczak and Bill Tobler and the negative comments about their service to the residents of Augusta Township.

In the past four years I have attended almost all the Township Board meetings and have a very different point of view.

Bill Tobler and Kathy Giszczak perform their respective duties above and beyond the call of duty. Bill and Kathy are always open to questions and willing to find answers if they don't know the answer.

Both have experience from professional occupations that have been a big asset to the township. Kathy Giszczak and Bill Tobler have always been open and helpful when ever I have needed answers.

The minutes from the board meetings and other types of information are available to any resident in the lobby of the Township Hall or on the Township Web site www.augustatownship.org.

Bill Tobler and Kathy Giszczak have always made the best interest of the residents a priority. They want our Township to be fiscally secure so we can afford to live here.
