By the third inning the locals held a 5-3 lead. Woodhaven bounced back with all their runs coming with two outs.
Fulks, Corenne Harris and Anna Inoue each had two hits.
On Wednesday the Lady Phoenix dropped the Splitters 20-4 and 17-14. In the first game Harris hit the ball over the fence (about 215 feet) to knock in three runs. In that game she had four hits including a double.
Game two was a bit more of a battle and Ypsilanti ended up with the win. The game was tied up in the sixth 11-11. Ypsilanti got six runs in the seventh and Lincoln scored three runs and had the bases loaded with two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning.
Masako Inoue had seven hits between the two games with a double and nine RBI's; Anna Inoue had six hits, four doubles and six RBI and Fulks had five hits with one double and one RBI.
Ypsilanti Coach Ryan Minarik said the Lincoln defense played very well against his team.
Tomorrow they will play at Willow Run for a single at 4 p.m. The second game is Willow Run against Willow Run Alumni and the proceeds go to Brest Cancer Awareness.
Ypsilanti (6-7 overall and 2-4 in the Mega) will play two against Highland Park on Saturday.
