VIRGINIA KAY PARSONS
Greenville, S.C.(formerly of Ypsilanti)
Virginia Kay Parsons, 46, of Greenville, SC, was sent into the presence of the Lord which is her Saviour on April 3, 2008.
Born in Ypsilanti, she was the daughter of Marshall Benson Parsons I and Virginia Mary Parsons.
She worked for the Bob Jones Press's Testing and Evaluation Department and held a bachelors and masters degree from Bob Jones University. She was the president of the Women's Missionary Ministries at Faith Baptist Church in Taylors, S.C.
She is survived by her mother, Virginia M. Parsons; two brothers, Kenneth Parsons of Blufton, Ind. and Douglas Parsons of Canton, Ohio and two sisters, Wanda Reygaert of Auburn Hills, and Diane Bugg of Greenville, S.C.
Visitation was held April 7, 2008 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. The funeral service was held Tuesday at Faith Baptist Church with burial to follow in Coleman Memorial Park, Travelers Rest.
