Fund-raiser set for April to help support the troops

Washtenaw County Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 310, in cooperation with the Sidetrack Restaurant and Grill, will hold a Support the Troops fundraiser from 5 to 9 p.m. April 22, with 50 percent of the food receipts and 100 percent of all tips benefiting the project.

All of the proceeds will be used to send care packages to the troops in battling the war on terrorism. There will be no administrative overhead charges.
Members of the Vietnam Veterans Chapter will be servers and bus boys. There will be live entertainment, live auctions and drawings.
The event will be held at Frenchies, next to the Sidetrack Restaurant, 56 E. Cross St. in Ypsilanti's Depot Town.
