With a state championship from last year under his belt, head track coach Torin Moore has even more variety throughout the mens' and womens' varsity teams.

They also have a new white sign with purple letters in front of the school, honoring the state title achieved last season and the share of the individual state title as well.
"More bullets, I would say," Moore said. "It won't be easy though."
There are 62 athletes who have participated in indoors' practices, and several days of outdoors' practices.
Moore expects even more, possibly up to 100.
"I've never had that many (athletes) before," Moore said. "When you have more, it's more competition for spots. In practice we can raise our level of competition."
Moore said he lost top runners, but Ypsilanti will be tough in many events.
His 2008 class is a good one, he says, led by juniors Kwame Searcy, Marvon Sanders, Martez Dykes, EJ Wilson and Jeremiah Turman.
Then there are seniors Taylor Moore and Matt Szerbak along with sophomore Mitchell Long.
Whoever the runner is, each of them has one thing in common - they'll receive a heavy dose of Moore' New Jersey attitude, something he adopted years ago.
He says he'll "put it in your face," during practice while talking to the kids. It's just part of the message he preaches to his kids to be the best they can be, not just in the field, but in the classroom, at home, everywhere at all times and not every once in a while.
He has a discussion with his runners every day after practice. A recent discussion involved crunch time; when it comes down to it, it's time to do it.
"All these guys have good work ethics," Moore said. "Our discipline is good. That's how we win."
"Baseball and football teams win with defense. We win with discipline."
Will it lead to more signs outside the school in 2007?
"That's our plan actually," he said. "I'm excited."
