BREAKING NEWS: Police seeking armed and dangerous suspect

YPSILANTI - Ypsilanti police are seeking the public’s assistance as they look for a suspect described as armed and dangerous.
Freddie Davis Acklin, 30, is described as a black man, 5-feet 10-inches in height and weighing 190 pounds. He is wanted on a warrant for assault with intent to murder in the shooting of a 26-year-old Ypsilanti resident March 22 at 1926 Washtenaw Ave.
Ypsilanti Police Chief Matt Harshberger described Acklin as being “on the run.”
Anyone with information on his whereabouts should not approach the suspect, but should call 483-9510 or 911 emergency services immediately.
