Coach Duane Edwards is excited about the new teams he is playing but still plans to battle all the Mega Blue teams as well.
"I think Fordson and Highland Park are the good teams in the conference," Edwards said. "Inkster has been coming around and been competitive in the league."
Edwards likes his schedule this season.
Key junior players for the Flyers are junior shortstop Tiffany Duperon, junior catcher Shelby Johnson, junior centerfielder Tiffany Priess and junior number one pitcher Miranda Flemming.
Other key players are junior leftfielder Charlise Randell and junior second baseman Kayla Kelley.
Last year's district loss to Tecumseh was a tough game.
"In thirteen years of coaching they are the best team I have ever seen," Edwards said. "They were tough one through nine."
Willow Run will begin the season on March 31 against Fordson.
