Lady Splitters lost a lot to graduation
PUBLISHED: March 20, 2008
The Lincoln Splitters softball team took a big hit last year when they graduated eight seniors. Coach Karen Sexsmith is hoping her team can do better than the team's under .500 record last year.

Last year the team fell to Ann Arbor Huron in district play.
"The Southeast Conference is a very tough league," she said. "I see us as being able to compete with Dexter and the teams in our non-league schedule like (Dundee, Milan, Highland Park, Willow Run and Ypsilanti)."
Key players on the team are seniors Alexa Anderson (pitcher), Malak Ismail (third), Sarah Burnett (catcher/outfield) and Michelle Anderson (first/pitcher).
Another key player is sophomore catcher Danny Lauth.
The Lincoln season will begin on April 3 at Pinckney High.
