Middle school principal Lynn Cleary was named acting superintendent of Schools following the resignation of Fred Williams on February 18, 2008.
Williams, who served as the districts superintendent for more than two years, left the position to return to his family and his home in Grand Ledge.
Cleary served as interimsuperintendent for a month during the summer of 2005. She does not know how long she will serve this time.
"That's up to the board," she said.
Cleary said the thing she likes least about being superintendent is making the call for snow days. She said the thing she likes the most is graduation.
"I know those seniors and it's a thrill to stand on stage with them," Cleary said.
