He took first at the regional and is now 50-0 on the season.
Teammate Ben Hand (171) lost in the final round by a score of 5-4 to a Trenton wrestler. He finished 2-1 on the day and took second place.
Both wrestlers move on the individual state finals at the Palace of Auburn Hills starting on March 6.
Lincoln has a hard time
Out of five wresters at the regional for Lincoln no one was able to qualify for the state meet on Saturday. Three wrestlers made it to the "blood round", which is the round before qualifying for the state meet.
Jarred Lylyhorn (103), Brandon Farrell (140) and Brandan Freeman (145) were all defeated in the blood round.
"We ran into a lot of tough kids," Lincoln Coach Daren Schaller explained. "Everyone wrestled hard in every match. This tied the most we had every taken to regional which was in 1996."
