EDWARD OSKEY

Willis

Edward Oskey, 78, of Willis, died Feb. 11 in Ann Arbor with his loving family by his side.

He was born July 30, 1929 in Willis, to Michael and Agnus (Kaszowski) Oskey. He was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Willis. Ed was an avid hunter and belonged to the National Rifle Association. He retired from Ford Motor Co. after 31 years.

He is survived by daughters Jane Cox and son in-law Terry, Cecelia (Dale) Warren, seven grandchildren Denyele, Tim, Dale, Mark, Travis, Ray and Kristen, one great grandson Brady Warren, step-daughter Pat Anderson, brothers Carl, Michael (Marilyn), Dave, Raymond (Gail) Oskey, sisters Dorothy Butzin, Leona (Tivis) Sowards, Shirley (Arnold) Glenn, Joan (Richard) Huziak, sister in-law Beatrice Oskey and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by wife Julie, Maggie, Bernice, parents, niece Mary Raymond, brother Robert Oskey, brother in-law Melvin Butzin and nephew Twig Blade.

Visitation was held at Ochalek-Stark Funeral Home, in Milan, last Wednesday and Thursday. There also was a Scripture Service held.

A Funeral Mass was held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, in Ypsilanti on Friday.

Father Nicholas Ritter will officiate with burial following at St, Joseph Cemetery, Ypsilanti. www.ochalekstark.com.
