Ypsilanti police officers Andrew Pylypiak and Kent Overton responded to a call 3:30 p.m. Feb. 13 of a suspicious person at the AATA bus center on Pearl Street. A witness greeted the officers and pointed out the white man who was acting in a suspicious manner, approaching passersby and would-be bus riders.

The man was found to be wanted on a warrant out of Canton Township. He was also found to be in possession of eight baggies containing marijuana. He was arrested.
Ypsilanti Neighborhood Policing Team officers Zachary Allen and Bradley Compton made a routine traffic stop 8:50 p.m. last Friday in the 500 block of West Michigan Avenue.
The driver of the vehicle exited it and dropped something onto the ground. The "something" was found to be four rocks of crack cocaine. He was arrested.
Ypsilanti police officers Zachary Allen and Bradley Compton were patrolling in the neighborhood of the AATA bus center, 220 Pearl St. last Friday at 11:29 p.m. when they made a traffic stop.
The passenger was found to be in possession of a large sum of money and, in a space below the dash of the car, directly in front of him, there was a white plastic bag that contained nine baggies of marijuana.
The man was arrested for possession of an illegal substance with intent to deliver.
