New face at The Courier

Newly hired Christine Laughren started as Staff Writer for The Ypsilanti Courier last week.

Laughren, an Ypsilanti resident, takes the place of Dan DuChene, who left the paper in January to study abroad.

Laughren wrote for The Eastern Echo working her way up from staff writer to news editor to executive editor.

She also completed a summer internship at The Ludington Daily News where she worked on news and features.
