The Ypsilanti Phoenix finished in tenth place out 14 teams at the Saline Super Duals on Saturday.

They defeated Bloomfield Hills Lasher and Grosse Ile but fell to Grass Lake, Woodhaven and Grand Rapids Northview.
Patrick Hopps (one-hundred and twelve pounds) went a perfect 5-0 on the day. Greg Egbert (119) went 5-0 as well and improved to a perfect 40-0 on the season. Brian Peplinski (135) went 5-0 on the day.
Tim Nestorak (130) and Ben Hand (171) both went 4-1. Hand is 37-2 on the season so far. Alex Lillie (125) and Trey Sweeney (160) were both 3-2 on the day.
Earlier in the week the Phoenix fell to Dearborn Heights Annapolis 66-16. Winning for the locals were Egbert (119), Hand (171) and Nestorak (130).
The Ypsilanti Lincoln Splitters went 2-3 at the Monroe Jefferson Team Tournament on Saturday. Lincoln defeated Carlson 49-27 and the Jefferson B team 54-13.
Lincoln lost to Ida 48-21, Jefferson 57-24 and Stony Creek 42-33.
Jarred Lylyhorn (one-hundred and three pounds), Brandon Farrell (140) and Brandan Freeman (145) all went 5-0 on the day. Eddie Rakotz (152) was 4-1.
"It was a nice quick tournament," Lincoln Coach Daren Schaller said. "It is nice to get some of our younger guys wins."
On Wednesday Lincoln lost to Tecumseh 55-11 and Saline 42-22.
Mark Farrell (112) went 2-0. Winning single matches on the day were Brandon Farrell (140), Freeman (145), Rakotz (152) and Aaron Riser (160).
Lincoln must now get ready for the SEC League meet on Saturday. It is being hosted by Tecumseh this season and will have Adrian, Dexter, Chelsea, Pioneer, Huron, Tecumseh, Bedford and Saline.
