They defeated Ann Arbor Huron, lost by three points to Ann Arbor Pioneer, lost to Livonia Stevenson, the Beverly Hills Detroit Catholic Central B team and to Woodhaven.
Despite those losses several wrestlers had perfect or near perfect records on the day.
Jarred Lylyhorn (one-hundred and three pounds), Mark Farrell (112), Brandon Farrell (140) and Brandan Freeman (145) all went 5-0. Eddie Rakotz (152) was 4-1.
Splitter Coach Daren Schaller said he knew his team would be short-handed this week and was pleased with the way they wrestled.
Earlier in the week on Thursday the locals defeated Ann Arbor Huron in a tri-meet but fell to Adrian.
"Adrian is a very strong team," Schaller said. "We wrestled poorly against them."
Mark Farrell (112), Brandon Farrell (140) and Brandan Freeman (145) each went 2-0 on the day.
Schaller said that he is impressed with sophomore Lylyhorn who in his opinion has really picked it up in the last two weeks.
Lincoln is at Tecumseh on Saturday for a team tournament.
Ypsilanti High
In their only varsity action on the week the Phoenix grapplers fell to Carlson 39-36.
It came down to the last match of the meet and the Ypsilanti heavy weight was shutout by Carlson 7-0.
"It was a close dual," Phoenix Coach Claudell Ruffin said. "I thought we wrestled hard."
Patrick Hobbs (112), Greg Egbert (119), Alex Lilly (125) and Brian Peplinski (135) all won by pin. Carlson racked up several pins in a row before Ypsilanti won on voids at 189 and 215.
The Phoenix wrestle at the Lincoln Park Orange and Blue on Saturday and yesterday they battled at home against Dearborn High.
