In non-league action last week, the Splitters were able to beat Flat Rock 41-24 but ended up losing to New Boston Huron 44-21.

Jarred Lylyhorn (one-hundred and three pounds), Mark Farrell (112), Brandan Freeman (145) and Eddie Rakotz (152) all went 2-0 on the day.

Lincoln faces a tough week when they host Ann Arbor Huron and Adrian today and are at the Livonia Stevenson team tournament on Saturday.

Willow Run

The Flyers ended up losing to Dearborn Edsel Ford 60-12 and Inkster 54-18 last week in dual meet action.

Matt Phillpotts (130) won by injury default over his opponent from Edsel Ford and he pinned his opponent from Inkster. Chris Ellis (135) won by pin over the Vikings and Ghasha St. Amie (145) won by way of a bye over Inkster.

The Flyers wrestled Highland Park and Inkster yesterday and they have Saturday off.

Ypsilanti High

In dual meet league action on Jan. 9 the Phoenix fell to the Melvindale Cardinals 42-29.

Winning on the day were Greg Egbert (119), Alex Lilly (125), Brian Peplinski (135) and Ben Hand (189).

On the season so far Egbert is 28-0 and Hand is 26-1.

Ypsilanti has Saturday off but yesterday they were at Carlson. The Phoenix are 1-2 in the Mega White.
