Personality

This week, we have two more stories about activities that make this community unique.

While we tend to focus on the big things, it really is the little things that give a community personality, and Ypsilanti is attracting the kind of small activities that do exactly that.

This week we write about the arts. First there is the local musical group that is going to pay tribute to roots rock. Then there is the 555 Gallery, which has relocated from Ann Arbor to East Michigan Avenue. And we have information about productions at the Riverside Arts Center.

We’re seeing more and more such developments.

None is huge in and of itself, but taken together, they represent Ypsilanti’s rapidly expanding presence as a center for the arts in Washtenaw County.
