PRIDE

What once was Ypsilanti PRIDE is now just PRIDE.

That’s right. The program, which began as an annual effort to clean up and spruce up Ypsilanti and Ypsilanti Township now has spread to Augusta Township and Superior Township.

Consequently, it is now known as PRIDE.

Well, PRIDE Day was Saturday, and organizers across eastern Washtenaw County said the event was bigger and better than it ever has been, and they expect to continue to see the annual effort grow in coming years.

Congratulations one and all for the effort undertaken and the very clear statement of pride in our community.
